5 MUST VISIT DESTINATIONS IN THE WORLD.

I wouldn't call myself an experienced traveler, but I have been lucky enough to have visited many beautiful countries over the past few years. I have always been the type who would much rather spend money on experiences rather than materialistic things. The experiences I have gained- whether it be an exchange program in Europe or family trips to other countries- I wouldn't trade it for anything. It is safe to say that I have left my heart in many cities, that I can't wait to go back to. If you ever find yourself searching for your next travel destination, these little gems might just come in handy!

1. Koh Phi Phi- Thailand: This little remote island sits at the top of my list and it is one of the most breathtaking islands I have ever visited. Koh Phi Phi has no cars or anything that runs on motor for that matter. The island is really small so you can walk from one end to the other in about 30 minutes. I loved the little kiosks set up on the streets selling everything from handmade jewelry to "designer" goods . One of my favorite things to do on the island was to go watch the fire shows on the beach at night. I was mesmerized watching the local talents play with fire as if it was nothing! (I may have even done limbo under the fire myself;))

2. Prague- Czech Republic: If there is one place I would choose to spend my winter at, it would have to be Prague. This ancient little town has the most beautiful (and underrated) Christmas markets ever. You feel like you are in some medieval l era with horse-drawn carriages roaming the little streets, famous clock tower and locals in black cloaks. The Prague Castle is a famous landmark in the town, set on a hill overlooking the red roofs of the houses. I would definitely recommend Prague for a winter holiday!

3. Singapore: With less than 24 hour stay in Singapore, I instantly fell in love with the city. As we had a long layover, we decided to check out the main attractions in the city. We ended up spending most of our time by the harbour near Marina Bay Sands. They had a really cool water/lights show in the harbour that's unlike any other I have seen before. Singapore is also home to one of the biggest zoos' in the world. I know there is plenty more to see in this tiny, but amazing, country, so I will be setting foot there again very soon!

4.Gold Coast- Australia: One of my faves in the land down under! I love the vibe of this city. Everyone is chilled out. The local shops are amazing.  A little over priced, in my opinion. Most likely because this is a major tourist city and Australia in general is very expensive. Overall, I loved the beaches here and just roaming around town in shorts and sandals. I mean you can't go to Australia and not visit Gold Coast!

5. Paris- France: Ahhhh, I definitely left my heart in Paris. I loved every minute of being in the City of Love. There is so much to do in the city. I would recommend spending at least a good 4 days there, if you are planning on visiting all the major attractions and some. I can still remember the moment when I saw the Eiffel Tower for the first time. It was so magical! There is so much history packed into one place: from Notre Dame to Palace De Versailles to the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysees. Not to mention the most delicious crepes I have ever had.

What are some of your favorite places in the world?
